The automatic algorithm STRATfinder is increasingly applied to detect mixed-layer heights from attenuated backscatter profile observations. In this meeting recent developments of the slgorithm will be summarised and STRATfinder users are invited to share their experience with the tool.

The PROBE WG3/4 taskgroups on Doppler wind lidar, automatic lidars and ceilometers, microwave radiometers, and Doppler cloud radars are organising joint discussions with ACTRIS and E-PROFILE.

This is the first meeting of the UAS taskgroup aiming to better coordinate the various activities within the PROBE community.
